Just wondering professionals say its not safe under any condition to raise or remove limiter on an engine without risk of blowing the engine due to engine not made for conditions. I read on superchips there tunes and options are meant for stock engines with upgrades such as throttle body spacer cat back exhaust shorty headers cold air intake only. My truck upgrades are just the tuner, true dual exhaust with h-pipe and glasspaks, 7in suspension lift 3 in body lift 4.56 ratio front/rear gears, 35in mud tires. Kn air/oil filters for stock replacements. And a dual electric cooling fans.

And as of now with stock value on the rev limiter when im doing the 1-2 shift whether in super chip or stack values on shift point option for 1-2 it red-lines before it can shift and i gotta let off the gas for few secs to let it shift. Would it be safe to use the raised values on rev limiter option? Since superchips says its designed for a stock engine? Yes my tuner has been changed to correct the difference in tire size and gear ratio and im using all superchip values and raised value on speed limiter on the programmer except the rev limiter.

It has roughly 278k miles on engine and tranny everything is original except the xfer case which i just replaces like 3k miles ago.
