Hi, I own a HP 250 G1 with: - Pentium 2020M CPU - 4GB DDR3 - 1600Mhz - 500GB HDD - Intel HD Graphics 2500 - Ubuntu 12.0.4 LTS (Installed Windows 8.1 Pro along side Ubuntu because I need Ubuntu to work) I would like to upgrade its CPU to a stronger one, especially a Core i3 since i5 and i7 may cause problems because of Turbo Boost feature that may not be implemented by the Motherboard. So, is it possible to upgrade it to a Core i3-3XXX safely? I also have few more questions: WHY did HP provided a Realtek Audio drivers while my computer have an Altec Chip? Where can I find the appropriate drivers? Same thing with Touchpad drivers, I tried Synaptics Drivers but they won't install at all (NO compatible device found).
