This morning I was printing a 4 page document, as it was printing the end of the 2nd last page it smeared, then it got to the last page printed a couple of lines and the rest of the page was blank. I have changed all the ink cartridges, deep cleaned, cleaned the roller, cleaned the ink pads, taken the ink carriage out and cleaned that also. I replaced the ink cartridges and the printer still say ink low. I tried searching the internet and followed every single solution available I could find multiple times to no avail. Hi kozydawg, To try and resolve the issue, please take the ink cartridge out, turn the unit off, turn it back on, and place the ink cartridge back inside. It should then update the ink levels accurately. Alternatively, if you have a cartridge that is empty, you may be able to put it in the printer so it recognizes the empty cartridge and provides the ink cartridge empty warning. Should the above recommendations not resolve the issue, you can disable the ink level detection function of the printer and continue to scan, print and copy.

To do this, please press and hold down the STOP/RESET or RESUME/CANCEL button on the printer for at least 7 seconds, then release it.
